“This hotel... Is the best hotel in Ames Iowa! Maybe even in the state period. The rooms are great and clean! And dont even get me started on the staff. The staff was so nice and welcoming! Debra (the manager) was the one to check me in and she was so nice! Anything I needed she was there to help! I cannot rate more than 5 stars! If I could I would give them 10/10 stars! If you're passing through or in Ames on other business you have to book a room at Townplace! The manager is Debra and shes amazing! Also Pet friendly!”
“Wife and I stayed for a few days with some friends, super friendly staff, even let us use their business room for board games. We were told the price was 290, ended up paying 250 with early check in. They were extremely accommodating to our baby and loved seeing the happy staff whenever we strolled by. Will absolutely be going back here for extended stays again.”
“We stayed two nights with our Special Olympics team. We had a great experience. Nicole at the front desk went above and beyond for service. She was kind and accommodating. At check in they were very prepared for our large group and many rooms. Rooms large and spacious. Even a meeting room for our group to have pizza. Breakfast has many options to choose from.”

“We had an amazing stay at the TownePlace Suites. The room was clean and spacious. The pool was a big hit with our kids. The breakfast was delicious with many options to accommodate the whole family. We also left behind our cell phone and as soon as we noticed we called the hotel and Nicole answered and put our minds at ease immediately. She went and was able to locate the phone and reassure us that it was found and walked us through the best way to have it returned. She turned a very stressful situation into a peaceful one with her help! We are so grateful! This hotel truly went above and beyond to make our experience away from home a great one!”
